Move with Us, the residential property experts, have launched a new outsourced property sales and rental service for charities and trusts to help them preserve and maintain the value of their property portfolios following success with managing Save the Children's property sales.

Save the Children has been using Move with Us for the last two years to sell property and has endorsed the new service. Move with Us will save charities valuable time and hassle when it comes to selling any gifted properties that they have been left in a will.  Withproperty often the main asset, Move with Us provides a one-stop property management and sales service to ensure maximum gains from any property asset.

“Properties gifted to charity account for a significant proportion of the £2 billion left to charity in people’s wills each year and it is vital that charities deal with these properties appropriately.  The sales service will provide three property valuations included within its service, which will help with probate transactions to ensure minimum inheritance tax (IHT) and capital gains tax (CGT) errors and will then market the property at the best price through its partner network.

 Complementing the property sales service, Move with us will also manage any properties that need to be maintained on an ongoing basis to ensure that the asset doesn’t depreciate in value and any income is sustained.  Charities and trust managers will be able to outsource all of their sales and rental property management, from: assessing if a sale or rental is the best for the beneficiary or estate after detailed analysis of the current property market in the local area, tenant sourcing, maintenance and insurance.

 The rental management division has already trialled this service on on a number of high street lenders, and the success of this has led to the firm being able to broaden the offering to the third sector.
