Dave Trimble, Nottingham City Council has noted on Planet Property that “It was an amazing opportunity for Wollaton Hall to be a location for the Batman filming last summer.

“The film gives us a fantastic chance to put Wollaton Hall and Park in the international spotlight for years to come and attract visitors from across the world to Nottingham to enjoy the Elizabethan history and beauty of the site.

“They were very sensitive to the importance of the site and paid every attention to the conservation standards necessary for a Grade I Listed building.”
