The property that AA Milne, author of Winnie the Pooh bought in 1925 is now up for sale.

AA Milne bought Cotchford farm in Ashdown Forest, Sussex, for his family, including his son Christopher Robin and it came to be known as the House at Pooh Corner.

AA Milne’s former property fell into the unlikely hands of Rolling Stones member Brian Jones and the property’s history took a darker turn when he drowned in the swimming pool in 1969, aged 27.

The property is currently on the market for £2 million and consists of six bedrooms, 9.5 acres of land and foresters rights.
