UK's most expensive flat sold

19 April 2011

Recent Land Registry documents have shown that the UK's most expensive flat has been sold in London, for a whopping £135.4million.

Part of the One Hyde Park development, 'flat A' was reportedly purchased by a Ukrainian in cash back in 2007. Currently bare, with no amenities, the owner of 'flat A' looks set to spend up to £60million on decorating the interior of the property.

The flat covers the top three floors of the development, situated next to Knightsbridge. The complex has been developed by the property investor Candy brothers, who have accumulated almost £1billion worth of sales across 45 apartments.

The development was completed in January and nearly every one of the properties has been purchased by an offshore trust.

Think your property is worth a cool £135million? Or even £350,000? The only way to find out is by speaking to an agent and arranging a free house valuation. They will let you know where your house stands in the current market, and what price you could expect to achieve.
