7 October 2011

The tiny ‘Wedding house’ is situated in Amberg, Germany and measures just 2.5 metres wide.

Despite being spread over seven floors, the luxury hotel so small that it can only house one couple at a time.

The building is an interesting as it is tiny too. It was originally built in 1728 as a way around a law that stipulated only property owners could marry. A local man built a cheap property that couples could own briefly in order to marry before selling it on to the next hopeful pair which is how it got its name as the ‘Wedding house’.

The house helped to bring so many couples marital joy that it is said to bless any pair that stay a night with eternal happiness.
