The £20,000,000 house bought by Gucci boss

French billionaire and founder of PPR (that owns Gucci), Francois Pinault has purchased a luxury London pad worth £20,000,000.

The Telegraph has reported that the upmarket property in Chelsea, south-west London, despite being excessively costly, has only has two bedrooms.

To make up for the bedroom deficit it does, however, have other benefits. It is, for instance, a Queen Anne revival property originally designed in 1868 by Philip Webb for the painter George Price Boyce.

The property also incorporates grandiose ceilings three times the normal height and was featured in the 1978 cult classic Withnail & I.
