Dr Catherine Hearnden, Chief Executive of MyMortgageDirect recently noted on houseladder.co.uk that potential home owners in the UK are becoming more optimistic about climbing the property ladder.
Dr Hearnden believes the change has been instigated by people reading more about the positive state of the property market moving forward.

This change in attitude has been supported by increases in home loan applications, interest and purchases.

Dr Hearnden believes there is still a north-south divide in the housing sector, but that this gap is has always existed.

She commented on houseladder.co.uk that: "The majority of jobs are based in the south-east. There is more demand there, so it is going to be more expensive".
