Looking to live Home Alone?

18 May 2011

The house made famous in the original Home Alone film has been put on the market, for a cool $2.4million. The property, which shared the screen with child actor Macaulay Culkin, is a 1920’s mansion on Chicago’s North Shore.

The house is instantly recognisable to the fans of the 1990 smash hit film, even if it isn’t decorated in Christmas lights and baubles.

The property covers 4,250 square foot, has three stories, a stunning dining area and is only a few hundred yards away from Lake Michigan. The marketing agent has described it as a “classic residence offer(ing) timeless and inspired family living.”
