300 previously homeless people performed on stage at the Royal Opera House as part of a festival celebrating the Olympics.

The London based event included choirs, singers, poets and drama groups from around the UK.

It was organised by Streetwise Opera and backed by Homeless Link and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. It was arranged to raise awareness of homelessness and to provide a mouthpiece for people they felt may have gone under the radar during the excitement of the Olympic Games.
