Bradleys in a league of their own

The Bradleys Estate Agent Group recently announced the winners of their first “Referral League”, a competition between over 40 offices in the south-west in conjunction with nationwide property specialist, movewithus that ranks the amount of UK-wide business achieved by Agents.
Sally Smitheram (picture attached) based in Hayle, Cornwall, who beat over 100 negotiators from across the region to win a European weekend break, said: “The movewithus Referral League keeps us on our toes and gives us the chance to win fantastic prizes. In an uncertain market, it ensures that potential business is never lost and gives customers the confidence that their sale is a top priority.”
Bradleys’ customers from outside Devon who have a property to sell are passed to movewithus, who put them in touch with one of the 1,200 estate agents in their UK-wide agency network. With approximately 40 per cent of buyers coming from an address outside the area, it means potentially thousands of additional leads for agents up and down the country.
Jonathan Williams, director at Bradleys, commented: “Our relationship with movewithus enables us to help buyers moving in and out of Devon with their relocation. It not only gives us a steady revenue stream but enables us to keep track of the progress of a transaction and eradicate any issues which may be slowing the sale process. With fewer buyers and sellers on the market and the reverberations of the credit crunch still being felt, 2008 is predicted to be a turbulent year for agents.
Nigel Higgins, a movewithus founding director, added: “In a tough market, agents can’t afford to let business pass them by. We want to make sure that every potential buyer has a chance to sell their property using an accredited agent with a track record of customer satisfaction and efficiency.”
