Where there's a will, there's a way

movewithus is trialling a brand new Will Referral service, designed to give piece of mind to customers and pass business on to our solicitor clients. The service is designed to remind people that it is important to ensure that they have their wishes on paper in the event of their death.

Pete Gammon, movewithus asset management director, said: “We are currently trialling the Will Referral service with a number of solicitors to find out customers' requirements when they want to draw up a Will. The service is recommended to clients by our conveyancing department as an additional service in the house moving process.”

The new service is great news for our clients, who receive an additional source of revenue from Will referrals and more importantly begin to build a healthy pipeline of new customers.

Pete Gammon commented: “The best time to arrange a will is when circumstances change. For the majority of us, our most valuable asset is our home. It would make sense, as part of the moving process, to arrange how the ownership is passed on in the event of unforeseen circumstances.”

Our asset management department is a key ingredient in this success. In the last six months, we have launched a number of new services, including Probate Sale Management and Pre-possession services to work alongside banks, lenders and solicitors to ensure they receive the highest possible value for property within their responsibility.

Pete Gammon added: “As market conditions toughen, we’re always looking for new and innovative ways to make business for our clients. Our Probate service is proving particularly successful, with over 30 solicitors now using our team to value and sell properties on behalf of their clients. We hope our Will Referral service can achieve similar levels of success.”
