movewithus Creates a Six Million Dollar Relationship

The successful business partnership between movewithus, the UK’s leading independent property transaction specialist, and ARUN Estates, one of the UK’s largest independent estate agency groups, has now led to a six million dollar relationship, generating over three million pounds of revenue in the two and a half year association.
ARUN Estates, the holding company for many well known house hold brands including Cubitt and West, Wyatt and Sons, Ward and Partner, Rooney and Co, Pittis and Son and Douglas Allen, has seen their partnership with movewithus develop to new heights during 2007.
The affiliation, which was first piloted by Jon Holden, Managing Director of the Douglas Allen group, a little over two and a half years ago has now become a group wide arrangement and income derived from conveyancing and part exchange properties has now been complemented with income from out of area referrals, asset management property sales and utility switches.
Despite tougher UK housing market conditions in the latter part of 2007, the relationship has grown from strength to strength with ARUN having an increasingly high success rate in the sale of movewithus properties.
In 2008, even more ambitious plans between the two companies will be implemented including the integration of sales progression to offer a more enhanced consumer proposition, a fully integrated HIP offering, an assisted sales proposition and the launch of the new switchwithus websites.
The UK housing market may be going through a transformation in terms of transaction numbers, but both movewithus and ARUN are confident that they will see income from peripheral services rise even further this year.
