96 Per Cent of Estate Agents Demand Improved Service

Founding Director of movewithus, Robin King, will this Wednesday reveal that 96 per cent of estate agents believe that standards in the industry need to be improved, as he addresses the PCS Expo Conference at the Business Design Centre, Islington.

Unveiling the latest movewithus agents’ research, King will call on the industry to improve standards or risk the threat of increased and potentially dramatic government imposed regulation in the future. King will also call on agents across the UK to face the challenges of the future generations by adapting to their needs or face dying out, identifying the new model of consumer, new entrants to the estate agency market, the volatile economy and impending regulation as the key factors behind change.

Robin King, will say: “As the UK’s leading property services group, our vision is always to be the best and most innovative. In the ten years since we started the movewithus business, we have prospered because of our ability to change quickly and because of our growth ambition. Estate agents need to be ‘fleet of foot’ and constantly implement changes to their business in order to maintain standards and relevance and to keep up with the times. These changes will often mean difficult choices relating to company infrastructure, technology and the workforce.”

Joining Robin King at the PCS Expo, Ben Harris, Business Network Director at movewithus will explain how estate agents need to remove the deadwood from their business in order to thrive and prosper. He will identify the opportunities that exist through strategic partnerships and online networks at the same time as highlighting the need to combine traditional industry methods with new, innovative and online solutions.
