Industry plaudits for Chain Checker

movewithus have been piloting their innovative online Chain Checker service with Douglas Allen Estate Agents, part of the Arun Estates property network. The service has been praised for its ease of use and the transparency it gives to the buying and selling process.

The online service is designed to give all parties involved in a property transaction the ability to track its progress at any time. The web-based program allows all Negotiators to track the progress of each individual part of the transaction, enabling swift action on any parts that are overdue or need extra attention.

“At a glance, we can see how the sale is progressing”, said Pauline Howes, a Sales Progressor from Douglas Allen. “Dates, overdue milestones, target changes; they’re all flagged up to you.”

The system allows notes to be added to any part of the chain which are automatically emailed to each party, keeping everyone updated.

Ms Howes went on, “The system includes everything we’d normally put on a paper file, so time spent on admin is saved – all the information is onscreen… and now that everythings online, I don’t have to spend time deciphering everyone’s handwriting!”
