Watch out Michael Vaughan...here come movewithus

England cricket captain Michael Vaughan was rumoured to be quivering in his whites after hearing the news that movewithus recently held their annual cricket day! Attended by over 100 staff and clients, the event was an opportunity to meet like-minded people in the property industry and have some fun with the people they have worked so successfully with this year.
The team, made up of movewithus staff and clients, battled valiantly but unfortunately came a close second. The theme for the 2007 event was a ‘summer party’ with games and entertainment throughout the day. For any guests that were not enthralled by the cricket, movewithus provided games and competitions to keep everyone enjoying themselves. Perhaps the Pimms at 11.00am also helped to ensure that…
A steel band, playing a mixture of summer songs created the perfect atmosphere. After a huge group BBQ, guests were encouraged to take part in a charity raffle. Everyone was happy to participate and £199 was raised for the charity Childline.
A movewithus version of ‘It’s a Knockout’ was the highlight, with several members of staff thoroughly embarrassing themselves all in the name of good fun.
Robin King, Director of movewithus, remarked, “The day has been a great success. The games created a brilliant atmosphere and the cricket team did the company proud, although I’m not sure they’ll be facing Australia at the Oval anytime soon!”
