movewithus launch their 'Treasure Trove' of Corporate Properties

Last month saw the launch of movewithus’ top ten weekly must-sell corporate properties. Each week, our corporate property clients work with their movewithus account managers to pick out the most saleable properties on the market, priced to sell quickly and enable our member agents to continue making sales, despite toughening market conditions.

Russell Cade, movewithus group sales and marketing director, said: “In a tough market, we cannot overstate the importance of accurate pricing. Properties that agents overvalue simply will not sell, which is detrimental to the vendor, the agent and the market as a whole. Our treasure trove of corporate properties are all realistically-priced to sell quickly.”

HIPs legislation, economic crises and the prospect of a new Government in the latter months of 2007 all added uncertainty to a property market which was long overdue a dip after ten years of continuous house price rises. The year ended with interest rates being cut in response to the slowdown – the first such move for over two years.

It’s all meant tough times for our agents and developers and 2008 promises to be more of the same. We’ve been encouraging proactivity among our member agents, encouraging interaction and the sharing of best-practice ideas to continue to perform as the market slows.

Russell Cade added: “At movewithus, we anticipated the slowdown and have made significant inroads into property acquisition through our Probate, Repossession and Secure Home Purchase propositions. Our stocks have increased by 30-50% in the past six months, ensuring that our member agents have a plentiful supply of accurately-priced, saleable property.”
