Australia has been ranked as the most resilient economy for five of the past 6 years.

It is one of the largest economies in the world and because of its stable government and strong economy it has seen a significant growth in foreign investment. It’s legal system is based on the British judicial system and recognises and protects individuals and their property rights.

Of particular note is the performance of South Australia which had the best performing residential market in 2008 and is tipped to win this accolade again in 2009.

Rental incomes show a very healthy return increasing between 16%-26% between march 2007-march 2008.  Prices of property however are below the national average and are still amongst the most affordable in the country.
