white hot property summit receives universal praise

We’re proud to announce universally positive feedback to the 'white hot summit 2008', which was held at our Cambridgeshire headquarters. The event was attended by senior directors of the country’s top developers, lenders and estate agents.

Robin King, movewithus founding director, commented: “We wanted to bring together each area of the industry to make sure that everyone has a clear understanding of where we are and what changes we need to make to adapt to the current conditions.”

The day started with an assessment of the market downturn from a nationally respected Professor of Economics before progressing to an analysis of the current part-exchange process and the urgent need for change.

Rachel Khan, movewithus operations director (pictured), said: “In this market, the accuracy and speed of transactions is vital to the sales volumes of resale properties. That’s why we’ve revamped our valuation process and regionalised our teams to reflect regional differences in marketing prices.”

Later in the day, we outlined our white hot property proposition as a way to benefit all areas of the industry by differentiating the most saleable properties on the market.

Robin King said: “white hot property brings everything together. By streamlining the valuation and marketing processes and using the white hot property brand to make developer and lender properties stand out in the marketplace, liquidity is injected into the market. Buyers know which properties are the best deals and developers, lenders and estate agents sell more properties.”

Professionals from each sector of the industry had a chance to mingle and share their experiences. The day was a resounding success, with universally positive feedback to movewithus’ proactive approach to combating the challenges facing the residential property industry.

Steve Matthews, sales director at Persimmon Homes, commented that it was “refreshing to see such an innovative and proactive approach in these hard times”. This was agreed by Jon Bradley of Bradley’s estate agent, who praised an “excellent all round seminar, bringing like minded business professionals together for a common benefit – white hot property.”

Alison Heblich of Scarborough Building Society added: “It was a great opportunity to share ideas, proposals and plans for the future. The day has given us a refreshing insight into the property marketing and selling process. We have been impressed by movewithus’ overall vision and innovation, adapting to the difficulties and changes currently being experienced throughout our industry.”
