movewithus hits top quartile of Profit Track 100

movewithus, the UK’s leading property services group and network of estate agents, solicitors and conveyancers, has been rated in the top quarter of the Profit Track 100 - the only company in its sector to be listed in the annual barometer of Britain’s private firms with the fastest growing profits, published in The Sunday Times.

Despite the current market turmoil, movewithus which was ranked number 24 in the table has successfully bucked the trend to record a massive 31% increase in property trading activities, due in part to an increasing number of part-exchange instructions from developers.  movewithus is set to continue its significant profit growth in the coming years due to its unique business structure and the ‘countercyclical nature’ of its core proposition.

Sean King, Chief Executive, movewithus said: “We are delighted to feature in the top quarter of the latest Profit Track 100.  Despite the recent turmoil in the property markets, movewithus is in a good financial position and well placed to continue to grow, ensuring that members of the movewithus network are better placed to weather the current storm. Our early planning and focused business strategy ensures that we are in a strong position to move forward and continue the growth in our property sales business in the coming year.”

In recent years movewithus has focused on leading the outsource supply of property selling services for new homes developers. Assisted sales schemes and part-exchange look increasingly attractive to new home buyers in more difficult market conditions. By securing these highly motivated instructions, movewithus has been able to develop a network of over 1300 estate agents. Members of the network benefit from receiving instructions from other partner agents and having access to the support functions offered by the Group. These provide wide ranging benefits for clients and member agents alike and the infrastructure which movewithus provides to independents has been key in the continued rapid growth of the network.

movewithus has featured in The Sunday Times ‘Fast Track’ league table, that ranks Britain’s top performing private companies in 2005 and 2006.  Due to its continued success and significant growth in the past two years, the company has now made the successful transition from the Fast Track to Profit Track tables, being one of only a handful of companies to do so.
