Putting your house on the market

Making the leap to put your house on market is a big step in the moving process. To make sure everything goes as quickly as possible and to maximise interest make sure you have:

• Ordered your Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). This will tell you and any potential buyers how energy efficient your house is and you can’t sell your house without it.
• Remembered your board. Putting the good old For Sale board up outside your house really will attract interest, so don’t let your estate agent forget it.
• Good availability for viewings. The more viewings you can squeeze in and the better you get at answering questions, the more likely you will be to sell your house.
